Research & Prototype Lab

Description:

Building a STEM project can feel overwhelming. Where do you start? What counts as a prototype? How do you know if your idea actually works? With this 8-week Research & Prototype Building Program, we will teach you how to identify a meaningful problem, design a simple experiment or prototype, test your solution, analyze what you learned, and present your work effectively. This program is designed specifically for students with no prior experience, which means you will learn everything you need along the way. Although we focus on the process, building something real, learning from failures, and iterating, you can take what you have planned and built at the end of this program to enter many prestigious competitions such as ISEF(Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair), Regeneron Science Talent Search, Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF), Lemelson-MIT Program, MIT THINK Scholars, etc (many of them have more than 10,000 USD scholarships).
