We're a team of immigrant high school girls who founded BizSTEM to provide other immigrant girls with information, resources, and capacity-building programs at the intersection of business and STEM. We wish to build a better future for ourselves, including stronger university admissions and meaningful career opportunities. We believe no one should have to navigate their future alone, so we're creating a community that truly understands our passions and opens doors to a future with wide horizons.

Our Story
we realize that the University application process, especially in the US, has a very high barrier to entry, as it is not just about excelling in school; it requires successful extracurriculars, things that show one’s academic interest, etc, which takes time, effort, and a way to access this information. Not everyone is luck enough to have parents that have gone through this process or realize what this process takes. So, we want to break this information barrier and help immigrant girls like us who are interested in excelling in this university application process, or just help them see a wider world where they could do a lot more things of their own interest and explore their passions.

Hey! I am a grade 11 at Havergal College interested to pursuit a career around Private Equity or Financial Analysts or quantitative works. I was born in Beijing, China then moved to Toronto when I was about 11. I love drawing, watching tv shows and cooking.
