Harvard Crimson Global Case Competition (High School Division)

HCGCC is a virtual business case competition where students will take on the role of consultant and solve a real business problem for a major company as a team. Some companies involved in the case studies include Boeing, Oura, Sony, etc.

    • Each round, students will be given a case that they are going to provide a solution for in the form of video presentation (regional round) or 5-8 slide/presentation (qualifier round, not including appendix). 

    • The presentation must include:

      • analyzation about the company’s current situation

      • solution and strategy provided

      • expected impact and realistic plan of execution

    • 10 teams per region will qualify in the first round (50 teams in total), then top 2 teams per region will qualify to the final (10 teams in total). 

  • Each team must consist of 2-4 members, but according to the official website, at least 3 are recommended. Students should be aged 13-18, and have not yet attended university.

    • Registration deadline: October 14th, 2026

    • Live webinars with industry experts begin: October 17th, 2026

    • Regional case announced: October 22nd 

    • Regional submission deadline: October 29th

    • Regional qualifier announced: November 6th, 2026

    • Video pitch submissions: November 12th, 2026

    • Regional winners + global case release: November 19th, 2026

    • Global submission deadline: November 26th, 2026

    • Live global finals: November 29th, 2026

    • Global winner announced: December 1st, 2026

  • The competition offers significant prizes including:

    • cash prizes (up to $1500 per team)

    • mentorship sessions

    • free access to virtual work experience programs at top firms like EY and PwC.
